The Haywood County Tourism Development Authority (HCTDA) has several standing committees that play a crucial role in its operations. These committees, which consist of board members and sometimes community members, focus on specific areas of HCTDA’s work. These committees work together to ensure the success and prosperity of tourism in Haywood County. More details about each committee can be found below. 

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee supports HCTDA in developing marketing strategies and campaigns that inspire travel to Haywood County. It includes board members and community marketing representatives from each zip code.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee, collaborates with the Executive Director to oversee the organization’s finances. It includes representatives from the Haywood County Finance Department, the HCTDA Board Chair, the HCTDA Board Treasurer, and other HCTDA board members

Product Development Committee

The Product Development Committee (PDC), guides the Haywood County Tourism Development Authority in implementing the Destination Master Plan. It includes representatives from each municipality and Haywood County, and from the following categories: HCTDA Board, Outdoor Recreation, Arts & Culture, Retail, Lodging, and Attractions.
