Theme: Give the Gift of Haywood; GiftHaywood.com coming soon!
Concept: A holiday campaign to drive business to our local partners and generate small business relief fund contributions through the sale of exclusive “Haywood Strong” ornaments – kicking off on World Kindness Day on November 13.
The program will include the following promotions:
- For a $25 participation fee, businesses will receive:
- 25 “Haywood Strong” stickers to sell to recoup buy-in amount ($1 each), or to donate to the recovery fund,
- 1 Miniature Christmas tree, tent card for display, and one “Haywood Strong” ornament.
- A “Haywood Strong” window decal,
- A listing on the campaign website, GiftHaywood.com and associated Wander Map.
- Curated shopping lists and interactive map on our campaign website.
- Social media posts to promote participating businesses and local products throughout the website.
- The sale of exclusive “Haywood Strong” ornaments ($25/each) online and at the Visit Haywood Welcome Center, with 100% of the proceeds going toward small business relief efforts.
- Visit Haywood will collect names and emails to be entered in a raffle drawing for a special Haywood County “gift basket”, when you buy a “Haywood Strong” ornament at the Visit Haywood Welcome Center (between Nov. 13 – Dec. 31st) – winners to be announced in early January.
- A “Haywood Strong” banner will be made for Christmas parades in the area to drive residents to shop locally and through a directory of local business’s online storefronts, which will be housed on our campaign website.
- Each town will have the opportunity to add a branded “Haywood Strong” ribbon decoration to its Christmas tree.
